What is life, anyway? What are we all doing here? I've searched for the answer as much as any fifteen, almost sixteen year old, can. I've watched the children's movies, searching for the key to each happy ending. I've read the books, trying to break the code to each smiling end. I've tried each oldies song that the wise always dictate from a "better" time, yet I find nothing. I know I should be looking other places, such as news papers or Times magazine, but their reality is so much harsher than those of make believe.

So, I'll stick with my fairy tales, I think.
Even if I don't ever find an answer.

Why do you hate hope?
Hope is pointless.
Maybe. But it's one of the only things that makes it okay for me to open my eyes. I have hope. I may not have faith, but I have hope.
It's still a waste of time.
Would you rather I not have hope? Would you rather I not smile, laugh, or dream?
No, I wouldn't rather have that. At all.
Then hope isn't pointless, is it?
